Classroom Norms
These are the rules that students have established for the school year:
1. Be respectful to teachers, classmates, and property.
2. Be responsible: NO excuses!
3. Food/drinks/gum/candy are okay as long as no trash or spills are left in the room.
4. Ask for help if you need it!
5. Be a team player-help others when you are needed.
Students also established a classroom-use-policy for our technology.
Technology Norms
Computer use is a privilege, not a right.
Computers are tools for learning, not entertainment.
Computers will be kept on tables or desks.
“Surfing” is not allowed. Use proper research skills or use teacher-approved sites.
Downloading or changing settings need teacher approval.
Communication tools such as emails, chat rooms, or instant messaging need to be approved by the teacher.
Always contact teacher when asked to give out ANY personal information.

Group members will complete work to the best of their ability.
Group work will be completed before individual work.
